andy buck have you tried no kneed bread yet? Much easier on the hands, and it's incredible.
alix holbrook That is what i made! I just forgot the potholder when I was putting the lid on after putting the dough in the pot. Not that I mind kneeding, working in the bakery I'd need 8-12 5lb batches of dough every saturday morning.
andy buck oh shit, that sucks! i just made my first loaf of no kneed the other day, very pleased with it.

alix holbrook I have another batch on the counter, I used a hefeweizen instead of water. Later this week I'm stopping by the homebrew store for some other yeast varieties. I've tried it before with a regular bread recipe and failed, but it should work with this one. I'm going to try distiller's yeast first.
