stewart mccoy your handlebars are beautiful. is the wrap and brake combo a custom job? i saw a motobecane yesterday with a similar wrap.
steve block the brake hoods are old and very weathered gum rubber from the early 1980s (original to the bike). the wrap is natural cork with about 8 coats of amber shellac, which you can see i have worn through in places. the wrap is finished off with shellaced hemp twine rather than electrical tape
