| shea prueger | this is part of a market in soho. it's next to a couple blocks of flowers and a few blocks of fruit. a block of underwear and socks, block of beads...etc. so. this is a normal meat "shop." what you are missing is how MANY of them there are. back to back and across from each other. leaving only a narrow path to walk through all of this stuff. sick. and. you just go up and order whatever they have out. i literally watched a guy "browse" and with his bear hands touched ALL of them, trying to pick one out. picture someone flipping through a crammed rack of t-shirts, just like that. sick. |

| shea prueger | umm...yeah. good idea, actually. walking through the meat markets terrifies me more than anything else in asia. i try to avoid at all costs - but sometimes have no choice. and the smell, mark, is so bad. i usually wrap a huge bandana/scarf around my neck and tie it so it covers my nose and mouth. |
