c. alexander leigh This is basically the same construction technique Seattle has utilized for their new elevated train sections. It's amazing how far they can self-supportingly stick out.

ben janke yeah, it's pretty cool. they have all the sections for the span (you can see the seams in this photo) laid out at the park downstream, and put them on a barge and bring them up to the crane.
